Key duties
- Operate radiology equipment to complete diagnostic imaging exams.
- Position patients correctly and use appropriate techniques to achieve clear images.
- Follow radiation safety protocols and infection control procedures.
- Collaborate with providers, nurses, and support staff to support patient care.
- Educate patients on procedures and imaging expectations.
- Document and manage exam information in PACS/EHR systems.
Qualifications/skills
- Credentialed radiologic technologist with strong clinical imaging competency.
- Knowledge of patient safety, radiation protection, and infection prevention.
- Strong communication skills and patient-focused care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based clinical environment.
