Surgical Tech II – Cardiovascular supports complex cardiac and vascular procedures in advanced operating rooms.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, organize, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.
- Establish and maintain sterile fields and ensure sterile technique throughout procedures.
- Anticipate surgeon and team needs, including instrument and supply readiness.
- Ensure compliance with safety, infection-control, and standard operating room protocols.
- Collaborate with surgeons, perioperative nurses, and anesthesia teams to support patient-centered care.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular/vascular surgical workflows and sterile processing.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Solid teamwork and communication skills with multidisciplinary care teams.
