Labor & Delivery Nurse provides compassionate, evidence-based care for birthing patients and newborns.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring of labor progress and fetal well-being.
- Assist with deliveries and provide post-delivery care for the mother and newborn.
- Administer medications and support clinical interventions as directed.
- Deliver prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum support, including family-centered education and emotional support.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary support staff to promote safe, patient-centered outcomes.
