Acute Medicine Clinical Nurse provides exceptional bedside care for hospitalized adult patients in a fast-paced acute medical unit.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassess as conditions change.
- Administer medications and therapies safely and accurately.
- Closely monitor vital signs, symptoms, and overall clinical status.
- Respond rapidly to changes in condition and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary care team to support evidence-based care plans.
- Educate patients and families to support safe transitions of care.
Key qualifications/skills: strong acute care nursing skills, rapid clinical judgment, effective communication, patient education, and teamwork within a multidisciplinary environment.
