Seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality post-anesthesia care for surgical patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess post-anesthesia status.
- Manage airway and breathing and provide timely interventions as needed.
- Administer medications and therapies per orders and clinical protocols.
- Respond promptly to changes in condition and support patient safety.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgeons to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families on post-procedure care and expectations.
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EHR.
Qualifications & Skills
- Active RN licensure.
- Strong clinical skills in post-anesthesia monitoring, airway management, and medication administration.
- Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Proficiency with EHR documentation and accurate charting.
