Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Support physicians and nurses in providing high-quality, community-focused care. Responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, documenting medical histories, and preparing exam areas for patient visits.
Perform basic clinical procedures such as administering injections, collecting specimens, and assisting with minor treatments under provider supervision.
Ensure efficient clinic operations by managing scheduling and patient flow, and by maintaining accurate, timely records in the electronic health record (EHR).
Qualifications & Skills
- Current Certified Medical Assistant credential
- Strong clinical support skills and ability to follow provider direction
- Experience with vitals, patient intake, and specimen collection
- Proficiency with EHR documentation
- Excellent attention to patient safety and accuracy
- Ability to support a collaborative, patient-centered environment
