Physical Therapist Assistant to support outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement evidence-based treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
- Guide therapeutic exercise and gait training.
- Apply treatment modalities and assist with manual techniques as directed.
- Document patient progress in the EMR.
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and reinforce self-care plans.
- Help maintain a safe, efficient, and patient-centered clinic environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Relevant licensure/credentials as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Strong understanding of orthopedic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation principles.
- Ability to deliver therapeutic exercise, gait training, and modality-based care.
- Accurate clinical documentation skills and comfort using an EMR.
- Excellent patient communication and supportive, team-focused mindset.
