Travel Nurse (Respiratory Unit)
Provide advanced respiratory care in acute and sub-acute healthcare settings. Manage oxygen therapy, ventilators, and non-invasive respiratory support for diverse patient populations.
Key Duties
- Assess respiratory status and develop/implement appropriate care plans
- Interpret ABGs and adjust therapies based on clinical findings
- Operate and monitor ventilators and non-invasive support devices
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate safe, high-quality care
- Educate patients and families on disease management and equipment use
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered nurse with strong respiratory care experience
- Proficiency in oxygen therapy, ventilation, and non-invasive support
- Ability to perform respiratory assessments and interpret ABGs
- Excellent communication and patient/family education skills
- Patient-focused, autonomous, and committed to safe care
