Role Summary
Provide high-quality nursing care to pre- and post-operative patients undergoing cardiac surgery, patients with cardiac dysrhythmias requiring IV drips, vascular surgery patients, and general medical overflow.
Key Duties
- Deliver direct patient care before and after cardiac procedures
- Monitor and support patients requiring IV drip therapy for dysrhythmias
- Provide nursing care for vascular surgery patients and medical overflow cases
- Coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team to support safe, effective treatment
- Evaluate and help ensure the quality of care provided by other caregivers
- Protect patient rights and maintain strict confidentiality
