Provide radiation oncology care using external beam therapies, delivering treatment with a focus on quality, safety, and patient-centered outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and prescribe radiation treatments, including 3D, IMRT, SRS, SRT, and SBRT options.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and treatment strategies.
- Work closely with medical physicists, dosimetrists, radiation therapists, and nursing staff to ensure accurate and effective delivery.
- Participate in clinical decision-making and ongoing care throughout the treatment process.
Qualifications & skills
- Board-eligible or board-certified radiation oncology qualifications.
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Competence in external beam radiation treatment planning and delivery.
