Registered Nurse (Weekend Night, Medical Unit)
Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to adult medical patients. Conduct comprehensive assessments, administer medications, manage IV therapy, and monitor telemetry. Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and respond to clinical needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform thorough patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
- Administer medications and manage IV lines and therapies
- Monitor telemetry and communicate changes promptly
- Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care
- Educate patients and families to support understanding and recovery
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation in the EHR
Qualifications/skills: Current RN licensure, strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills, ability to manage IVs, familiarity with telemetry monitoring, effective teamwork and communication, and commitment to compassionate, continuous learning care.
