Clinical Nurse Coordinator – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Oversee daily clinical operations for a high-acuity PCU, coordinating patient care and ensuring evidence-based practice, accurate assessments, and safe transitions of care. Lead and support a team of RNs and support staff through mentoring, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Monitor quality and patient safety metrics
- Support staff scheduling and workforce coverage needs
- Participate in process improvement initiatives
- Provide education, support onboarding, and foster clinical excellence
- Promote a culture of compassion, teamwork, and safety
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered Nursing licensure
- Strong clinical judgment for complex, high-acuity patients
- Leadership skills with coaching and feedback capability
