Provide individualized registered nursing care to adult patients on a medical telemetry unit, managing complex clinical conditions and continuously monitoring patient status.
- Assess patients, monitor telemetry and vital signs, and respond to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments per clinical orders, maintaining accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate effective care.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, care plans, and next steps.
- Coordinate and support discharge planning to promote safe transitions of care.
- Contribute to patient safety initiatives and quality improvement efforts.
Qualifications/Skills: Strong clinical assessment and monitoring skills, effective communication, teamwork with interdisciplinary providers, patient and family education ability, and a strong focus on safety and quality.
