Clinical Nurse Coordinator (Emergency Room)
Lead RN responsible for coordinating patient flow and supporting triage and critical care to ensure high-quality, evidence-based practice and patient safety.
- Supervise bedside nurses, manage staffing and nurse assignments, and support effective unit operations.
- Mentor and educate staff; assist with complex procedures and escalation of clinical needs.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Promote patient safety initiatives, maintain quality standards, and contribute to process improvement.
- Support patient and family education to improve understanding of care and treatment.
Qualifications / Skills
- Registered Nurse (RN) with emergency/critical care leadership experience.
- Strong clinical judgment, triage capability, and ability to lead during high-acuity situations.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and teamwork skills with multidisciplinary partners.
- Commitment to evidence-based care, quality improvement, and patient safety.
