Role: Compassionate PICU Registered Nurse providing high-acuity, evidence-based care for critically ill infants and children.
Key Duties:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring.
- Manage complex therapies, including ventilator support and medication management.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate urgent interventions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate and support families while addressing patient and caregiver needs.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in line with clinical standards.
- Uphold infection control practices and ensure patient safety.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current RN licensure with PICU experience or equivalent pediatric critical care competency.
- Strong critical care assessment and clinical decision-making skills.
- Proficiency with ventilator and high-acuity medication therapies.
- Ability to handle emergencies, coordinate care effectively, and communicate clearly.
- Commitment to family-centered education, safety, infection prevention, and documentation accuracy.
