MRI Tech PRN supports patient care by performing magnetic resonance imaging using advanced equipment in a state-of-the-art clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures and ensure comfort, safety, and proper positioning.
- Operate MRI scanners and related systems to capture diagnostic-quality images.
- Follow established safety protocols and maintain compliance with imaging and infection control standards.
- Monitor patients during imaging and respond to issues according to department procedures.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and assist with quality assurance and image review.
- Document and communicate relevant information to the care team as required.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited MRI or radiologic technology program.
- Valid relevant certification/licensure (as required by the role).
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety, anatomy, and imaging protocols.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a patient-centered, detail-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
