Role: Progressive Care Registered Nurse providing high-quality, evidence-based care to moderately to high-acuity patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing evaluations.
- Monitor complex telemetry and hemodynamics; detect and respond to clinical changes promptly.
- Administer medications safely and accurately according to clinical standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and families to support understanding and informed care decisions.
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current RN licensure.
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage moderately to high-acuity patients.
- Proficiency with telemetry/hemodynamic monitoring and rapid escalation when needed.
- Medication administration expertise and attention to patient safety.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient education skills.
- Thorough documentation skills with accurate EMR use.
