Clinical Nurse Coordinator (Medical-Surgical)
Provide a blend of direct patient care and nursing leadership for a Medical-Surgical unit. Coordinate daily unit operations to support safe, high-quality clinical outcomes.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established standards.
- Serve as a clinical leader to ensure unit readiness, safe practice, and effective workflow.
- Mentor, coach, and support nursing staff to strengthen skills and performance.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient-centered care.
- Monitor and promote compliance with clinical protocols and quality measures.
- Communicate clearly with team members to support continuity of care.
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered nurse with strong medical-surgical clinical knowledge.
- Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and teamwork abilities.
- Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and care planning skills.
- Ability to coordinate unit activities while maintaining high standards of patient safety.
