Special Procedures Tech supports interventional and diagnostic procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and procedure rooms for vascular and interventional studies
- Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Monitor patient condition and respond to changing clinical needs
- Document care and maintain accurate procedural records
- Ensure radiation safety, sterile technique, and adherence to regulatory and hospital policies
- Collaborate with nurses, radiologists, and other clinicians to deliver compassionate, high-quality care
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique and radiation safety practices
- Proficiency operating fluoroscopy/imaging equipment
- Ability to assist during vascular and interventional procedures with attention to patient safety
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a clinical environment
- Detail-oriented mindset for monitoring and documentation
