PRN Cardiac Cath Lab Tech needed to support a busy cardiac services team by assisting cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist with patient monitoring.
- Operate fluoroscopy equipment and support imaging during catheterizations.
- Maintain a sterile field and follow infection-control practices.
- Record and document hemodynamic data as directed.
- Provide post-procedure care support and assist with recovery processes.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergent situations during procedures.
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and ancillary staff in a safety-focused, patient-centered environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization workflow and sterile technique.
- Ability to operate fluoroscopy equipment and support accurate imaging.
- Effective communication and teamwork with clinical staff.
