Allied Respiratory Therapist (Pediatric ICU)
Provide high-quality respiratory care to critically ill infants and children in a pediatric critical care setting.
Key Duties
- Manage ventilators and deliver advanced airway support
- Perform emergency respiratory interventions as needed
- Collaborate with intensivists and the multidisciplinary care team
- Interpret ABGs and adjust respiratory therapy plans accordingly
- Educate families on respiratory care and treatment plans
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registered/licensed respiratory therapy qualification
- Strong expertise in pediatric critical care and ventilator management
- Ability to respond effectively in fast-paced, technology-enabled environments
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Comfort with family education and patient-centered care
