Role: Trauma Surgical GN or RN providing expert, patient- and family-centered care for trauma and post-operative surgical patients in a fast-paced unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring of post-operative and trauma patients
- Manage patient care needs, including wounds, lines, and drains
- Administer medications accurately using advanced EMR systems
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care with a compassionate, teamwork-focused approach
Qualifications & Skills:
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Graduate Nurse (GN) with readiness for trauma/surgical care
- Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and monitoring skills
- Proficiency in medication administration and EMR documentation
- Ability to coordinate care effectively across disciplines
- Commitment to continuous learning, including specialty certifications and professional growth
