Emergency Department Technician provides on-site support for fast-paced, patient-centered emergency care.
Key duties include assisting physicians and nurses with:
- Patient triage, procedures, and ongoing monitoring
- Performing EKGs
- Phlebotomy and point-of-care testing
- Wound care
- Maintaining accurate, complete documentation
- Coordinating safe patient transport
Required qualifications and skills:
- Strong clinical support skills in an emergency setting
- Proficiency in EKG, phlebotomy, wound care, and point-of-care testing
- Attention to detail for safe patient handling and documentation accuracy
