Veterinary Assistant
Provide compassionate support in an on-site veterinary clinic by assisting veterinarians and technicians with animal handling and restraint, treatments, diagnostics, and patient monitoring. Maintain clean, safe, and well-stocked treatment and kennel areas, following established safety and sanitation standards.
Key duties
- Assist with examinations and veterinary procedures as directed.
- Handle and restrain animals humanely to reduce stress and improve safety.
- Support diagnostics, treatments, and ongoing patient observation.
- Maintain organization of treatment and kennel areas; restock supplies as needed.
- Help with client communication and support smooth appointment flow.
- Enter and maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
