Life Plan Counselor supports older adults and families by helping them understand Life Plan and continuing care options through a resident-first, compassionate approach.
Key responsibilities
- Listen to individual needs and guide prospective residents in making informed decisions with respect and integrity.
- Explain community living choices, services, and the overall continuing care process.
- Partner with colleagues across healthcare, hospitality, and community operations to ensure a consistent, welcoming experience.
- Provide supportive, clear communication throughout the counseling process.
Qualifications & skills
- Experience in counseling, senior living, healthcare, social services, or customer service is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate, resident-focused mindset.
- Ability to explain options clearly and guide individuals through decisions.
