Certified Surgical Technician to support a surgical team in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure readiness for procedures.
- Set up and maintain sterile fields.
- Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons and the surgical team.
- Perform accurate instrument, sponge, and sharps counts.
- Assist with patient positioning as needed to support safe procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia staff to promote safe, efficient care.
Qualifications & Skills
- Certified Surgical Technician (active certification).
- Strong understanding of sterile technique and surgical room protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy for surgical counts.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and handle fast-paced situations.
