Role: Surgical Tech for a pediatric CVOR team in a high-acuity surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support cardiac surgeons by maintaining sterile fields throughout procedures.
- Prepare instruments and equipment; assist during complex pediatric cardiac surgeries.
- Manage surgical supplies and ensure readiness of required materials.
- Operate and troubleshoot OR equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate surgical counts and support patient safety practices.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in pediatric or cardiac OR settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile technique, and perioperative workflow.
- High attention to detail, diligence, and precision.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills focused on quality outcomes and patient safety.
