Registered Nurse – Burn Unit
Provide specialized, compassionate nursing care to adult and pediatric burn patients in an acute care burn unit. Deliver complex wound care, manage patient pain, and monitor hemodynamic status. Coordinate and implement multidisciplinary treatment plans that support recovery and rehabilitation.
Key duties
- Perform and document comprehensive burn wound care
- Assess symptoms, manage pain, and support comfort-focused care
- Monitor hemodynamics and respond to clinical changes
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement care plans
- Maintain patient safety, documentation, and continuity of care
Qualifications & skills
- Current RN license
- Experience or strong interest in burn care and critical care nursing
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Commitment to continuous learning, integrity, and patient-centered care
