Medical Lab Scientist to support an emergency-focused setting and main hospital laboratory. Perform routine and complex laboratory testing across chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, and blood bank to provide accurate, timely results for emergency and acute care patients.
Key duties include:
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain automated laboratory analyzers.
- Perform and verify laboratory testing, including STAT samples to support rapid clinical decisions.
- Follow strict quality and safety standards, including specimen handling and result accuracy checks.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and laboratory policies.
- Collaborate with ED physicians and nurses to prioritize patient needs.
