Perform CT examinations and provide patient assistance throughout imaging procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Verify imaging orders, obtain patient history, and prepare patients for CT scans.
- Administer IV contrast as authorized and monitor for safety and protocol compliance.
- Assess image quality and perform necessary adjustments to support diagnostic accuracy.
- Assist radiologists during invasive procedures and provide coordinated support.
- Follow radiation safety, infection control, and patient care protocols.
- Document procedures accurately and maintain imaging equipment and clean work areas.
Qualifications/skills
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging workflow and contrast administration protocols.
- Ability to ensure patient safety, comfort, and effective communication.
- Attention to detail in order verification, documentation, and image quality evaluation.
- Competence in radiation safety and infection prevention practices.
