Provides comprehensive bedside nursing care to hospitalized patients, including patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, patient education, and ongoing documentation and evaluation of treatment outcomes.
Key responsibilities include coordinating care with the interdisciplinary health care team, monitoring patient status, and responding promptly and effectively to emergencies.
Qualifications
- Active Oregon RN license
- ICU experience or completion of an ICU cross-training program
- Strong clinical judgment, patient assessment, and care coordination skills
- Competence in medication administration, treatment evaluation, and accurate charting
- Ability to educate patients and communicate clearly with the care team
- Preparedness to manage urgent/emergency situations
