Critical Care Registered Nurse
Provide direct, evidence-informed nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU (including MICU and Neuro ICU, with cross-training to CVICU). Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate complex patient needs.
- Continuously monitor hemodynamics and cardiac rhythms
- Rapidly recognize changes in condition and initiate appropriate responses
- Administer medications safely and accurately
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care to support optimal outcomes
- Deliver patient and family education and support
- Maintain adherence to ICU quality and safety standards
