Special Procedures Tech (PRN)
Performs and assists with complex, invasive special procedures to support high-quality patient diagnostic care and treatment. Maintains precision and clinical expertise to help ensure safe, effective procedure outcomes.
Key Duties
- Prepare, set up, and maintain specialized procedure equipment and supplies.
- Assist clinical staff during invasive/special procedures while following sterile technique and safety protocols.
- Support patient care before, during, and after procedures, including monitoring and documentation as required.
- Adapt to varying procedural needs and maintain accuracy in the performance of technical tasks.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient, high-standard diagnostic and treatment support.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency with advanced medical/special procedures and related equipment.
- Strong understanding of sterile technique, patient safety, and procedural workflow.
- Ability to remain adaptable and detail-oriented in high-acuity environments.
- Effective teamwork and communication with clinical staff.
