Provide specialized nursing care in Progressive Care Units (PCU) for patients recovering from vascular surgery. Monitor post-operative patients, assess clinical status, and deliver individualized care focused on vascular health and safe recovery.
Key Duties
- Continuously monitor vital signs and relevant clinical parameters.
- Assess symptoms, wound/incision status, and overall post-operative progress.
- Operate and interpret patient monitoring equipment to support timely interventions.
- Administer medications and perform nursing interventions per care plans.
- Coordinate with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide patient and family education and support during recovery.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with PCU/acute care experience.
- Strong understanding of vascular surgery recovery and post-operative monitoring.
- Proficiency with clinical monitoring equipment and patient assessment.
- Excellent critical thinking, prioritization, and communication skills.
