Dental Assistant supports a patient-first, modern dental practice by preparing treatment rooms and instruments and assisting chairside during a wide range of procedures, including general, cosmetic, orthodontic, pediatric, periodontal, and emergency care.
Key duties include:
- Prepare rooms and sterilize/set up instruments before patient visits.
- Assist the clinician chairside throughout routine and specialized dental procedures.
- Take and process digital x-rays.
- Maintain strict infection control and follow safety protocols.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-care instructions.
- Support scheduling, administrative tasks, and patient documentation.
Qualifications & skills: Strong chairside assistance abilities, knowledge of infection control practices, comfort taking digital x-rays, excellent patient communication, and attention to detail for documentation and workflow support.
