Role Overview
Provide comprehensive nurse-midwifery care to patients across the lifespan of pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postpartum period, including newborn care and routine well-woman services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide clinical care throughout pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum.
- Perform labor-related procedures and other midwifery services.
- Deliver patient education and counseling to support informed decision-making.
- Provide newborn care, including routine well-child needs.
- Respond promptly to newborn emergencies and coordinate appropriate care.
Qualifications & Skills
- Nurse-midwifery expertise with strong assessment and care-planning abilities.
- Competence in labor and delivery clinical procedures.
- Excellent communication skills for education, counseling, and patient support.
- Ability to manage urgent newborn situations with sound clinical judgment.
