Local MedSurg RN (Medical-Surgical)
Provide high-quality bedside nursing care to adult patients in an acute care medical-surgical setting. Assess and monitor patients, administer medications and IV therapies, and coordinate interdisciplinary care to support safe recoveries and timely discharge planning.
Key Duties
- Perform patient assessments, ongoing monitoring, and clinical judgment in a fast-paced environment
- Administer medications and IV treatments safely and accurately
- Coordinate with the care team to support safe, effective treatment
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate patient status appropriately
- Educate patients to promote understanding and successful discharge outcomes
- Follow infection control standards and adhere to hospital policies
Qualifications & Skills
- RN licensure with Med-Surg experience
- Strong clinical assessment and monitoring skills
- Proficient medication/IV therapy administration
- Excellent documentation and patient education abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team
- Commitment to patient safety, infection prevention, and compliance
