Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room
Provide nursing care in the Operating Room to support safe, efficient surgical procedures. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patients receive high-quality care throughout the perioperative experience while adhering to strict health and safety standards.
Key Duties
- Assist with a variety of surgical procedures and prepare the OR for cases.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery, recognizing and responding to changes in condition.
- Maintain sterile technique and follow established infection control protocols.
- Ensure medication handling, documentation, and care coordination meet clinical standards.
- Support patient comfort and communicate effectively with the surgical team.
Qualifications / Skills
- Current RN licensure and strong perioperative nursing knowledge.
- Ability to work effectively in high-acuity, fast-paced settings.
- Strong assessment, patient monitoring, and critical thinking skills.
- Solid understanding of sterile processing, infection prevention, and safety protocols.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.
