Travel MedSurg RN (Acute Care)
Provide high-quality bedside nursing care to a diverse adult patient population, including post-surgical, medical, and telemetry patients. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop and implement nursing care plans.
- Deliver IV therapy and administer medications according to established protocols.
- Provide evidence-based wound care and monitor patient responses.
- Complete timely, accurate documentation in the EMR.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
- Support safe discharges and educate patients and families on care plans and next steps.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current RN licensure and strong MedSurg/acute care experience.
- Proficiency in assessment, IV therapy, medication administration, and wound care.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to document care accurately and efficiently in an EMR.
