We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform a variety of complex radiology examinations and procedures within interventional radiology, cardiac cath, and electrophysiology labs.
Key responsibilities include: setting up sterile fields, assisting physicians with catheters, guidewires, balloons, coils, and treatments, developing and implementing treatment plans, maintaining equipment and work areas, and documenting procedures to ensure compliance.
The role requires experience in radiology technology, with a preference for those with at least 1 year as a technologist and 6 months in IR/Cath/EP labs.
The candidate must have formal radiography education from an accredited program, be registered by ARRT, and hold BLS certification.
Skills required: thorough understanding of radiologic principles, proper technique and positioning, ability to follow instructions, and good organization.
Additional duties include on-call coverage and participation in performance improvement activities.
