Role Overview:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Special Float Pool across two hospitals, providing clinical care in ICU, Emergency Department, and Medical Telemetry. This full-time night position involves supporting multiple inpatient units, demonstrating clinical excellence, adaptability, and teamwork. The role offers schedule flexibility and opportunities for professional growth within a Magnus®-recognized environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Promote patient and family-centered care and educate on illness management and medication use.
- Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and compliance.
- Develop and communicate individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and team members.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of two years of acute care experience.
- Valid RN license and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Preferred: BSN, ICU and/or Emergency Department experience, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (PALS for ED), and telemetry interpretation skills.
- Strong IV therapy skills are essential.
