Support role in nursing education and development

This position is responsible for supporting orientation, competency programs, in-service and continuing education, academic partnerships, career development, and role transition at the unit level for healthcare staff.

Position Details

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 5 years’ hospital nursing experience with an Associate’s degree, or 10 years’ experience if no degree, with active enrollment in an RN to BSN program.
Current appropriate state license and BLS provider certification.
Strong clinical knowledge based on evidence-based practice and ability to positively influence patient care.
Excellent organization and multitasking skills to meet project deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; audiovisual equipment knowledge is a plus.
Familiarity with equipment and technology used in patient care delivery.

Preferred qualifications include:

Certification or progress toward certification in a relevant specialty.
At least 2 years of teaching experience.
Additional life support certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, among others.
