Role Overview: A Per Diem Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and ISCU, providing compassionate and safe patient care during night shifts at multiple hospital locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently deliver effective nursing care, utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Guide and supervise unlicensed assistive personnel to ensure high-quality interdisciplinary care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care.
- Contribute to safety and enhance patient experience through high standards of care.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current Illinois RN licensure; BSN preferred.
- Minimum two years recent experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, or ISCU.
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP required (AHA).
- Experience in labor, postpartum, and/or ISCU settings preferred.
Key Requirements: Ability to work night shifts, weekend, and holiday hours, with travel between hospital locations. Strong communication and teamwork skills essential for success.
