Role: Registered Nurse Pre-Op
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for surgical procedures by assessing readiness, reviewing health histories and test results.
- Monitor vital signs, administer treatments as ordered, and ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, and the care team to coordinate care.
- Educate patients and families about procedures and post-operative care.
- Document care activities accurately and ensure smooth, safe transitions to surgery.
