Role: Medical Technologist II, Hem/Coag Technical Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Perform and oversee complex hematology and coagulation testing in an academic medical setting.
- Validate and analyze patient specimens to ensure accurate results.
- Troubleshoot instrumentation issues and maintain quality control protocols.
- Optimize laboratory workflows to support clinical care, research, and education.
- Collaborate with pathologists, clinicians, and trainees to enhance laboratory operations.
- Mentor junior staff and support method validation and process improvements.
- Maintain regulatory compliance within a collaborative, learning-focused environment.
