Role: Registered Respiratory Therapist
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care across hospital units.
- Perform comprehensive assessments and manage ventilators and oxygen therapy.
- Obtain and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs).
- Respond to respiratory emergencies promptly.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Educate patients and families about respiratory treatments and care plans.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current licensure or certification as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Strong assessment and clinical skills in respiratory therapy.
- Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
