Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering advanced respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessments in critical care settings.
Key Duties: Provides patient-centered care, collaborates with healthcare teams, manages ventilators, performs airway management, and conducts arterial blood gas sampling. Educates patients, mentors staff, and participates in invasive and non-invasive procedures. Ensures safe, high-quality environment by adhering to policies, promoting safety, and supporting performance improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills: Requires an Associates or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy, valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and NBRC-RRT certifications. 0-2 years of clinical experience with a minimum of 6 months in critical care. Must possess excellent communication, critical thinking, assessment, and computer skills, with the ability to establish professional relationships.
