Position: RN – Adult Psychiatry
Location: Evanston Hospital, Evanston, IL
Type: Full Time (40 hours/week)
Shift: Evening (3:00-11:30pm) with rotating weekends and holidays
Responsibilities include: Providing safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for adult psychiatric patients, utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care plans, guiding unlicensed staff, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
Qualifications: Current IL nursing license, graduation from an NLN-accredited nursing school (BSN preferred), BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association, and preferred experience in adult psychiatry.
Skills: Strong clinical assessment, communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills are essential. Ability to work independently and lead interdisciplinary care.
