Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Pulmonary Unit
Location: Arlington Heights, IL
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments, collect health data, and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Coordinate and implement patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, appropriate, and timely.
- Communicate effectively in person, via phone, and in writing to ensure clear information exchange.
- Individualize patient and family education based on assessment to meet their specific needs.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.
- Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited nursing school.
- Current nursing license in Illinois.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
Additional Information: The role involves night shifts (7:00pm – 7:30am), with a per diem level requiring at least 48 hours every 6 weeks, including weekend hours if needed.
