Position: Registered Nurse Triage (RN) – Gastro
Location: Elmhurst, IL
Hours: Part-time, 20 hours/week with two 10-hour shifts, flexible travel required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care via inbound and outbound phone triage under supervision.
- Assess caller needs through active listening, clinical evaluation, and education.
- Manage acute and preventative patient needs, including education and ongoing care.
- Perform duties such as glucose monitor placement/testing, insurance pre-authorization, referrals, and maintaining exam rooms.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current Illinois RN license and CPR certification (AHA).
- Office RN and BSN preferred.
- Ability to handle high-stress situations, communicate effectively, and lift/move up to 40 lbs.
- Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and repetitive hand use required.
